  • Devastating Impact of Moisture in Compressed Air: Plasma cutting relies heavily on dry compressed air. If air compressors lack refrigerated dryers or if oil-water separators fail, moisture-laden air blows directly into the high-temperature plasma arc. Compressed air moisture is the number one cause of premature consumable failure.
  • Electrode Wear Limit Evaluation: A hafnium (Hf) emitter core is embedded in the tip of NPR0113 electrodes. During normal arc ignition, a pit gradually forms. You must replace the electrode immediately once the pit depth exceeds 1.5mm!
