OTC Daihen Genuine Welding Torch Swan Neck KF2245 (For WT2000)
KF2245 is an OEM genuine swan neck (torch neck/bend pipe) engineered by OTC Daihen specifically for the WT2000 classic MIG/MAG gas-shielded welding torch. Serving as the vital junction between the torch handle and contact tip, it conducts hundreds of amperes of welding current while channeling shielding gas and welding wire. Constructed from thick-walled, high-conductivity copper alloy and clad in high-temperature insulating armor, KF2245 features factory-exact bending geometry and internal bore polishing. Re-equipping your torch with an original KF2245 eliminates wire stuttering, contact tip off-center wear, and excessive neck overheating, delivering smooth, ergonomic control for professional welders.

🔧 On-Site Torch Maintenance & Swan Neck Care Guide (Essential Reading)
- Never Use the Torch as a Slag Hammer: Striking workpieces with the torch nozzle to knock away slag is the leading cause of swan neck failure! Mechanical impact bends the internal copper tube, distorting factory angles. Even slight angular distortion increases wire feed drag, causing wire chatter, contact tip grooving, and erratic arc burns.
- Inspect Insulating Jackets: KF2245 is encased in a durable black insulating sleeve. If accidental contact with hot plates burns through the sleeve, exposed copper tubing will short-circuit against the workpiece, burning through the tube wall and risking power source damage. Replace jackets immediately if compromised.
- Full Liner Seating: Ensure the wire feed conduit liner is pushed all the way into the locating shoulder inside the swan neck. Gaps allow welding wire to buckle inside the neck cavity, causing severe feeding jams.
- Thread Protection: Front threads for contact tip holders and insulators must be tightened snugly without excessive torque. Stripped threads leak shielding gas, causing weld porosity.
