  • Prevent Thread Seizure (Anti-Seize Paste): High MAG welding temperatures cause M6 threads to sinter and seize inside tip holders, resulting in sheared threads during removal. Always apply a trace amount of conductive anti-seize paste to threads before installation and tighten moderately with a tip wrench.
  • Spatter Bridging & Burnback Prevention: Spatter accumulation on tip tips can bridge the gap to outer nozzles, causing short circuits or wire burnback (wire fusing inside the tip bore). Apply anti-spatter spray and remove spatter frequently with MIG pliers.
