Robot Alarm Codes 0056-0072 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences a corresponding fault condition, the teach pendant will usually display a hardware and control-level alarm in the 0056-0072 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or damage to core components such as the reducer.

0056 External Operation Preparation Disconnect Signal Input. An operation preparation disconnect signal is input to the external operation preparation disconnect terminal arranged on the machine cable, etc. Or it is caused by the disconnection of the cable, etc., and the connection of the machine cable, etc. for machine safety, etc. On the premise of confirming system safety, release the activated operation preparation disconnect signal. If it still does not work, it may be a machine cable connection failure. After eliminating the cause of the exception, reset the exception.
0057 Emergency Stop Performed by Safety Plug-in Board, etc. Issued when the emergency stop contact in the control device is emergency stopped by the internal system due to some exception (an exception occurs in the safety plug-in board or a system error occurs, etc.). When a multi-servo exception (E0022) occurs, eliminate the cause of the exception on other systems. In other cases, the safety plug-in board may be malfunctioning. Please contact our repair service department. After eliminating the cause of the exception, reset the exception.
0059 Interference Exception With Other Drive Axes Occurred. This exception is issued when multiple devices in the system operate in coordination, or when a logical collision protection occurs due to incorrect setting of the interference area. Please use the manual adjustment function to let the robot retreat to a position where no interference occurs, reset the interference area, and then eliminate the exception and reset the exception.
0061 Exception Inside the Drive Unit Control Occurred. Issued when a certain exception is detected in the control circuit in the drive unit such as the slave device side of the multi-drive configuration, causing an emergency stop of the system. This is usually an exception in the servo board (UM221) in the drive unit. Please re-plug the connector. If there is no effect, please contact the repair service department. After eliminating the exception, reset the exception.
0062 Action Stopped Due to Power Voltage Drop, etc. Issued when a sudden drop in the control voltage of the control device occurs due to a certain exception, causing a system restart or protection. 1. Please check whether the wiring on the power input side and the AC power voltage are within the allowable range; 2. If the external wiring is correct, it is highly likely that the internal control switching power supply has failed. Please contact the repair service department.
0063 Over-Temperature Protection Occurred Inside the Control Device. Issued when the internal ambient temperature of the control cabinet exceeds 60°C, or when the cooling fan stops rotating, resulting in poor heat dissipation. The heat dissipation part of the cooling fan on the back of the control device should be cleaned. And reset the exception after the temperature drops. If it occurs frequently, please install an external air conditioner to ensure that the ambient temperature does not exceed the limit.
0064 Emergency Stop Action Caused by Brake Control Voltage Drop, etc. This is mostly caused by a drop in the power voltage of the main control circuit of the drive unit, damage to components in the control section, or poor contact, which triggers system emergency stop protection. 1. Please confirm whether the primary power voltage is within ±10% of the nominal voltage; 2. Please confirm whether the cooling fan behind the control device is normal. After troubleshooting the above causes, reset the exception.
0065 Drive Unit Heat Sink Overheated. Abnormal heat sink temperature is detected on the multi-drive unit (e.g., overload operation time is too long, environment is poor, etc.). 1. Clean the cooling fan and dust on the back of the control device; 2. Ensure the heat dissipation distance between the drive unit and the back wall (greater than 20cm); 3. Perform an exception reset after the motor and drive section are fully cooled.
0066 Multiple Drive Control Exception. In the architecture where a multi-drive system is set up, an internal error or loss of synchronization occurs in the drive coordination processing between various mechanisms. Please contact the repair service department to check the system communication board and parameter configuration. After eliminating the cause of the exception, reset the exception.
0072 Drive Unit Control Power Exception. An exception occurred in the main transformer circuit supplying power to the control device and drive unit (e.g., surge voltage, loose contactor, etc.). Please contact the repair service department to check the internal main power module and connection lines. After troubleshooting the exception, reset the exception.
