Robot Alarm Codes 3138-3157 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences abnormalities such as inconsistent welding machine versions, excessive electrode wear, axis torque exceeding standard, or reaching the reducer lubrication cycle, the teach pendant will usually display a hardware and control-level alarm in the 3138 to 3157 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or damage to core components such as the reducer.

3138 Welding Machine Version Inconsistent With Previous Use The control system detected that the welding machine backup file version does not match the actual version of the current welding machine. Enter the system welding parameters menu to execute “Welding Data Initialization”, and re-match the parameters after completion.
3134 No Welding Machine Backup File The pre-stored welding machine backup file was not found in the robot control device. Enter the system to execute “Welding Data Initialization”, then regenerate and save the welding machine backup file.
3142 Welding Machine Exception Occurred The welding machine itself detected an ALERT or FAULT signal. Check the “Welding Result Monitor” to locate the error, and perform an exception reset after eliminating the welding machine fault.
3146 Reached Reducer Grease Replacement Time The system detected that the cumulative running time of the reducer of the specified axis has reached the grease replacement cycle. Replace the reducer grease according to the manual requirements, and reset the replacement timer for this axis in the system after completion.
3147 Reached Grease Replenishment Time The system detected that the grease margin of the reducer or balancer of the specified axis is insufficient, reaching the replenishment cycle. Find the grease filling port of the corresponding part to replenish the grease, and reset the timer in the system after completion.
3148 Axis Exceeding Allowable Maximum Torque Exists The estimated torque value of the specified program exceeds the allowable maximum torque threshold set by the system. Check the load conditions, increase the precision control setting or reduce the movement speed/acceleration, and perform a reset.
3149 Program Will Cause Significant Shortening of Robot Lifespan The motion parameters cause the average speed/torque of the axis to far exceed the rated value, and the estimated lifespan is less than 5000 hours. Confirm that the load weight is accurate, appropriately reduce the robot running speed, reduce high-load movements, and reset.
3151 Specified Program/File Does Not Exist A non-existent program number was specified in the program transfer/call command. Open the main program reporting the error, modify the wrong number to a valid program number that already exists in the system, and save it.
3156 Servo Welding Gun Moving Side Electrode Consumption Exceeds Set Range The moving side electrode wear amount exceeds the allowable wear amount set in the servo welding gun parameters. Adjust the set value or replace the moving side electrode, re-execute the wear detection, and perform an exception reset after completion.
3157 Servo Welding Gun Fixed Side Electrode Consumption Exceeds Set Range The fixed side electrode wear amount exceeds the allowable wear amount set in the servo welding gun parameters. Adjust the set value or replace the fixed side electrode, re-execute the wear detection, and perform an exception reset after completion.
