Robot Alarm Codes 5032-5041 Repair

During the operation of the OTC DAIHEN Welding Robot, if the system experiences abnormalities such as arc welding power source encoder exception, current detection line exception, secondary transistor exception, insufficient water pressure, or usage rate over limit, the teach pendant will usually display a hardware and control-level alarm in the 5032 to 5041 range. If these faults are not investigated promptly, they may cause serious operational safety hazards or damage to core components such as the reducer.

To help on-site engineers and mechanics quickly locate problems, we have organized the diagnostic terminology from the official maintenance manual to provide you with the following intuitive fault quick reference table. We recommend using the search function, entering the error code (e.g., 5032), to accurately obtain troubleshooting and processing suggestions.

I. OTC Robot Alarm Code Real-Time Quick Reference Table (5032-5041)

Alarm Code Fault Phenomenon Fault Cause Analysis Countermeasures & Solutions
5032 Encoder Exception Detected in Arc Welding Power Source The encoder of the welding wire feeding device has failed or the wiring is poor. Refer to the arc welding power source operation manual (encoder exception section), check the wiring, and reset the exception after troubleshooting the cause.
5033 Current Detection Line Exception Occurred in Arc Welding Power Source The current detection line of the arc welding power source is abnormal (e.g., connector fallen off, loose, etc.). Refer to the arc welding power source operation manual, check the connection of the current detection line, and reset after eliminating the cause of the exception.
5034 Gas Check Exception Occurred in Arc Welding Power Source The gas check switch of the arc welding power source has continuously been in the ON state for more than 2 minutes. Set the gas check switch on the arc welding power source to the OFF state, and then perform an exception reset.
5035 Secondary Transistor Exception Occurred in Arc Welding Power Source The surge voltage of the secondary transistor of the arc welding power source is abnormally high. Refer to the arc welding power source operation manual (secondary transistor exception section) and reset after eliminating the cause.
5036 Water Pressure Exception Occurred in Arc Welding Power Source When using a water-cooled welding torch, insufficient cooling water flow is detected. Refer to the arc welding power source operation manual, check the water pipeline and pump to ensure sufficient water flow, and then perform an exception reset.
5037 Secondary Side Overvoltage Exception Occurred in Arc Welding Power Source The surge voltage of the secondary side transistor of the arc welding power source is abnormally high. Refer to the arc welding power source operation manual (secondary side overvoltage exception section) and reset after eliminating the cause.
5038 Specified Arc Welding Power Source Cannot Be Used on This Component The arc welding power source specified in the program is not registered as a usable power source for this component. Modify the program so that the power source matches the registration information of this component, and then perform an exception reset.
5039 Control Power Exception Occurred in Arc Welding Power Source The internal control power module of the arc welding power source has abnormal fluctuations or is damaged. Refer to the arc welding power source operation manual (control power exception section) and reset the exception after troubleshooting.
5040 Primary and Secondary Current Detector Exception The connector of the primary or secondary current detector inside the arc welding power source may have fallen off. Refer to the operation manual, cut off the power, check and re-plug the detector connector securely, and then perform an exception reset.
5041 Usage Rate Exceeded Exception Occurred in Arc Welding Power Source The internal temperature of the arc welding power source rose abnormally, exceeding the specified usage rate limit. Stop the welding operation, keep the power source turned on for cooling, troubleshoot the ventilation environment and load causes, and then reset the exception.
