The Abicor Binzel ABITIG® WH 400 W is a premier liquid-cooled GTAW (TIG) welding torch system customized for robotic cells and automated welding rigs. 🔧 Engineering & Maintenance Guide

  • WH Neck Quick-Change & TCP: When exchanging WH necks, clean the mating interface thoroughly. Even minor spatter or dust on the seating surface will offset the Tool Center Point (TCP) and cause automated weld deviation.
  • Coolant Flow Criticality: TIG welding at 400A generates intense radiant heat. Always ensure your water chiller supplies clean, deionized anti-corrosion coolant at the rated pressure; otherwise, O-rings will degrade rapidly, leading to coolant leaks into the weld pool.
  • Electrode Centering: Replace the collet and collet body immediately if they lose spring tension. A loose tungsten electrode will cause erratic arc ignition and severe wandering.
