OTC Daihen Genuine TIG Torch Tungsten Collet H950C07 (For 3.2mm)
H950C07 is an official OEM genuine tungsten collet custom-engineered by OTC Daihen for heavy-duty TIG welding applications using 3.2mm large-diameter tungsten electrodes. Serving as the primary mechanical clamp and electrical current conductor for the electrode, this collet is precision-slotted from high-purity, annealing-resistant copper alloy. It maintains exceptional physical spring retention at elevated temperatures, gripping 3.2mm electrodes tightly across all four quadrants to ensure 100% electrical contact. Re-equipping your torch with an original H950C07 collet eliminates tungsten electrode slipping, localized arcing inside the torch head, and erratic arc jumping.

🔧 On-Site TIG Torch Assembly & Collet Maintenance Guide (Essential Reading)
- Never Use Pliers to Tighten Back Caps: Collets clamp tungsten needles when compressed into collet bodies by the back cap. Never tighten back caps with pliers! Extreme crushing force fractures the slotted copper fingers on H950C07, destroying its elasticity and causing tungsten slippage during welding.
- Prevent Oxide Contamination: Insufficient post-flow argon time oxidizes hot tungsten needles black. Inserting oxidized needles into collets deposits non-conductive oxide film inside the bore, causing hard arc starting, contact arcing, and torch head overheating. Clean collet bores regularly with fine sandpaper.
- Strict Diameter Matching: H950C07 is dedicated to 3.2mm tungsten. Never clamp smaller 2.4mm electrodes inside 3.2mm collets; doing so crushes and permanently deforms collet fingers.
- Replace Mated Collet Bodies: When collet tips show step-wear or arcing pitting, replace the mating collet body simultaneously to maintain maximum electrical conductivity.
